Mission Group Visiting from Iowa

We welcome the mission group from Marion, Iowa who are staying at First Brownsville while they do mission work in Northern Mexico June 22-28. The group of 22 people are helping to build a house in Matamoros and also visiting the fishing villages served by Juentos Servimos.

District Camp

McAllen District Youth Camp had 33 kids for the this summer’s camp on June 18 – 21. Our very own Youth Director, Jacob Hunter served as the Dean of the Camp. Six youth from First Brownsville UMC attended camp.

Tools for Youth Mission Trip

The youth are going on a two mission trips this summer. To make this trip possible they need help finding the right tools for the job. So make your way through your garage and dig out those tools that are just sitting there so that they can do some good this summer. Call Jacob at the church office for a complete list of what is still needed.

# 6. Did somebody say bubble machine?

# 5. You can donate those scary Tupperware containers from the back of fridge for Science Experiment decorations

# 4. The only time you want to hear the words DNA and lots of kids at the same time

# 3. You saw Steve Spangler on Ellen and couldn’t get tickets so you thought this was a great chance to do the experiments!
