40 Days of Purpose

Posted by azermeno on July 14, 2008

Forty Days of Purpose Coming in September!!

What can happen in just 40 days?…Rick Warren lays it out as follows in the introduction to his book, “The Purpose-Driven Life,”
“Noah’s life was transformed…Moses’ life was transformed on Mt. Sinai…the spies were transformed by 40 days of viewing the Promised Land…David’s life was changed by Goliath’s 40 days of challenging Israel…Elijah was transformed when his strength lasted 40 days on a supernatural meal God provided…the entire city of Nineveh was transformed when God gave them 40 days to change…Jesus was empowered for his public ministry of miracles by a 40 day experience in the wilderness…the disciples were transformed when Jesus spent 40 days with them after His resurrection.”

What is it that can happen for you and our church in forty days? We hope that our entire congregation will want to find the answer to that important question!
